Dedham and Ardleigh Parishes - Finance Update March 2021

The church is situated in the centre of the village. It is part of a United Benefice with St Mary's, Dedham.

The church building at St Mary's was mostly rebuilt in the 1870s although the porch and the tower are very much older. There are 8 bells in the tower which are rung regularly. Inside there is a beautiful painted chancel. Modern facilities have been added inside the church so there is now a toilet and small kitchen.

The church maintains close links with the school, with members helping regularly with Collective Worship. Children, with their families, attend for Easter, Harvest, Remembrance and Christingle Services. Competitions which the school children enter, are displayed in the Church. Year 6 children are usually presented with a Bible during their last week at school.
